Your Story Has More Than One Life
Luring Press offers practical, rigorous education for writers who want to develop stronger stories, move intelligently between formats, and understand the long-term value of what they create.
No formulas for guaranteed success. No promises of overnight careers.
Just serious instruction from working storytellers building original work across publishing and the screen.
Don’t Leave Your Story to Die in a Drawer
You finished the screenplay.
Perhaps it placed in competitions, attracted interest, received encouraging coverage, or came painfully close to becoming something.
Perhaps it never made it past the first gatekeeper.
Either way, the story still exists.
A screenplay can be a powerful professional sample. But it can also become something readers can experience directly—without waiting for production, financing, or permission.
It can become a novel, reach readers directly, begin building an audience, and take its place inside a catalogue of intellectual property you own.
But adaptation is not a matter of copying stage directions into paragraphs and calling it prose.
A screenplay and a novel create immersion differently. The characters need interior lives. The world needs depth beyond what the camera can see. Scenes must be rebuilt around a reader’s experience. Structure, point of view, description, pacing, and emotional architecture all change.
That transformation is what Screenplay to Novel teaches.
Screenplay to Novel
Give Your Screenplay a Second Life
Screenplay to Novel is designed for screenwriters with a completed or nearly completed script who want to explore transforming that story into a compelling novel.
You will learn how to identify what can transfer directly, what needs to expand, what must be reinvented, and what new possibilities appear when the limits of the screen fall away.
This is not a prose-writing class disguised as a publishing seminar.
It is an adaptation framework built specifically for writers who already understand scenes, dialogue, character, and dramatic structure—and now need to learn how those instincts translate to fiction.

Continue with the Four-Week Intensive
Four Weeks. One Story. Expand Your Potential.
The Screenplay to Novel Intensive is a live, workbook-driven program for writers ready to begin the actual work of adaptation.
Across four weekly sessions, you will build a practical blueprint for transforming your screenplay into a novel with stronger interiority, richer world-building, purposeful structure, and an emotional journey designed for readers rather than viewers.
Week One: Adaptation Architecture
Evaluate the screenplay, identify its novelistic potential, choose an adaptation strategy, and define what the book must accomplish that the script currently cannot.
Week Two: Character, Interior Life & Point of View
Choose the perspective through which the reader will experience the story and develop the internal journeys, contradictions, memories, desires, and emotional consequences that film often leaves beneath the surface.
Week Three: Expanding the World
Develop the settings, relationships, subplots, histories, thematic layers, and sensory experience required to make the novel feel fully inhabited rather than merely transcribed.
Week Four: From Beats to Chapters
Translate cinematic structure into a workable novel outline, evaluate pacing and chapter movement, and leave with a clear plan for completing the manuscript.
The intensive includes:
Four live two-hour sessions
A structured adaptation workbook
Exercises and planning tools
Session recordings
A screenplay-to-novel development blueprint
A community of writers undertaking the same transformation
Tuition: $599
Writers who attend the $149 workshop may apply the entire workshop price toward the intensive, leaving a balance of $450.

Identify a project’s central commercial and emotional promise
Strengthen structure without flattening originality
Define the audience most likely to embrace the work
Evaluate series, adaptation, and format-extension potential
Distinguish a complete story from an expandable story world
Build projects that can support a larger creative catalogue
Make strategic decisions without allowing the market to write the work for you
Tuition: $1,000
IP Catalogue Accelerator
Stop Thinking In Terms of One Project at a Time
The IP Catalogue Accelerator is a premium, application-based engagement for prolific creators with multiple projects, formats, or story worlds who need help seeing the larger architecture of what they have built.
One-on-one, we examine the catalogue as a connected body of intellectual property rather than a pile of unrelated manuscripts and ideas. The work may include: catalogue inventory and project evaluation, audience and positioning analysis, series and story-world architecture, cross-format and adaptation opportunities, project sequencing, brand and pen-name architecture, revenue-pathway mapping, development priorities, and a practical long-term catalogue strategy.
This is not representation, management, legal advice, or a promise of investment or acquisition.
This is a private consulting and coaching service—strategic story and intellectual-property development for creators ready to treat their body of work as the foundation of a long-term creative business they are deliberately building.
Engagements begin at $2,500.
Taught from Experience, Not Theory Alone
Jordan Trippeer
Founder of Luring Press | Author | Screenwriter | Story Strategist
Jordan works across fiction, screenwriting, adaptation, and independent publishing.
She has written produced features and short films distributed on platforms including Netflix and Amazon. Her screenwriting has been recognized by the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Universal Emerging Writers Program, and multiple industry fellowships and development labs.
Through Luring Press, she has helped build a catalogue of twelve published works across several genres and original story worlds.
Her teaching draws from both sides of adaptation: the discipline of screenwriting and the expansive possibilities of prose. It also draws from the practical experience of developing, publishing, positioning, and learning from original work.
Jordan teaches creators how to stop waiting for permission to become who they already are—and how to turn what they have already created, and everything they intend to create next, into something they can deliberately build upon.
What These Programs Are—and Aren’t
These programs are for writers who want serious frameworks, practical tools, and clearer creative decisions.
They are not:
Promises of publication, representation, production, or commercial success
Substitutes for legal, financial, or publishing advice
Individual manuscript critiques unless explicitly included
Shortcuts around the work required to develop an excellent story
They are designed to help you do that work with greater intention, stronger architecture, and a better understanding of the possibilities already inside what you have created.
The Story Remains Yours
The objective is not to hand your work to another gatekeeper.
It is to help you see the work more clearly, understand its full potential, strengthen what needs strengthening, and develop the strategic infrastructure required to build the next stage of your creative life.
